If you suffer from intolerance to dairy, it is good to note that normally there are no dairy products used in the making of dark chocolate. Verify the list of ingredients to be certain.
Gluten free
This is a listing of products carrying a label indicating “gluten free”.
It is good to note that there are no gluten in the chocolate basic ingredients ( cocoa beans / cocoa butter and sugar).
Free of groundnuts and tree nuts
This is a listing of products that carry a « nut-free » label in their ingredients.
If you suffer from severe allergies, always verify the packaging of each product to be certain that every product is safe for you. If ever there is a difference between what is written on our site and on the packaging of the chocolate maker, the packaging takes precedence.
Soy free
Some chocolates contain soy lecithin, an emulsifier that improves the fluidity of the chocolate in its liquid state, a quality sought after by chocolatiers to improve moulding and coating of their bonbons.
If the intention is for the chocolate to be eaten as a bar, the addition of lecithin is not necessary.
